Tokaj-Hétszőlő - Eszencia 2010
The Tokaj-Hétszőlő Eszencia 2010 is the ultimate specialty of Tokaj, produced solely from botrytized Aszú berries. These berries, left in stainless steel tanks for a few days, release a pure juice that is fermented in large glass balloons, resulting in a wine with a low alcohol content (3.6%).
This 2010 vintage, marked by a cold and rainy climate, produced Aszú berries of exceptional quality with high sugar content and an elegant acidity. With a bright golden color, this wine offers complex aromas of dried apricots, tropical fruits, honey, and orange zest. On the palate, it is rich and complex, supported by a lively acidity. This exceptional wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 12-14°C, either as dessert or for moments of great appreciation.

The Tokaj-Hétszőlő estate, founded in 1502, is located in the historic Tokaj region of Hungary, famous for its Aszú wines. This vineyard, classified as Premier Cru as early as 1772, covers 55 hectares cultivated organically since 2009. The estate uses environmentally friendly viticulture methods, using neither artificial fertilizers nor herbicides, and promoting biodiversity. Hétszőlő wines are crafted using traditional methods, with particular attention to the quality and authenticity of the terroir.
