Château La Mascaronne Grande Réserve Red - 2020
"Restanques" and "Coteaux" are the two parcels of the estate dedicated to the production of Château La Mascaronne Grande Réserve Red. They benefit from the most beautiful solar exposures of the property, allowing for optimal grape maturation. This wine is a blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on these exceptional lands.
Handpicked in the cool of dawn, the grapes are then aged in French oak barrels for 18 months and selected barrel by barrel during the blending. Château La Mascaronne Grande Réserve Red 2020 displays a ruby color with purple reflections and a voluptuous nose. It is a complex wine with notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry, with great structure and smooth tannins. Made only in exceptional years, it can be stored in the cellar for about ten years.
